What I do

I run Gravitas, an AI consultancy from Hamburg. We work with companies on three things that belong together: finding where AI actually creates value, building the agents and systems that do the work, and enabling the people who use them. A typical start is the Discovery Week, four days on site that end with a concrete plan.

Before Gravitas

I've worked with artificial intelligence for more than ten years: first machine learning for anomaly detection, later LLMs and generative AI, today agentic AI in enterprise settings. At Google I was an AI Ambassador and advised top management across EMEA on strategic questions in the advertising business, in the Strategic Insights & Analytics team. There I built a financial analyst as a multi-agent system: the analytical methods were hard-coded, AI only decided where judgement was needed, and an audit agent checked every statement against the data.

Teaching

I've been teaching at Hamburg Media School since 2025, from leadership circles in its executive education programs to students at MediaTechDay. With Gravitas trainings I work with executive teams and employees, including the AI literacy required by the EU AI Act.
