Every beginning is hard. Don't give up.
The Claude Code guide I wish I had 1 year agoMany of you want to graduate from tools like Lovable and v0 to Claude Code but feel overwhelmed. I get it. Claude Code is powerful, but only when you actually use its full toolkit. And it's not as intuitive as people suggest. I've seen so much confusion about CLAUDE.md vs. system instructions vs. rules vs. skills vs. subagents. So I finally wrote the guide I wish I'd had when I started. 👉 Read: Clearing up Claude Code’s configuration system If you’ve only customized your CLAUDE.md file, this will show you what you’re missing. Shipping is about perseveranceKevin came to me with an idea for an app. A few months later, it's live on the App Store. He almost quit multiple times. But he didn't. I know the feeling. At the end of last year, I started building Historical Reels. A site where you can colorize old photos and turn them into 8-second videos. What began as a small test turned out to be way more complicated than I expected. Rabbit holes everywhere (Don't even get me started on iOS). Moments where I thought "is this even worth it?". But I kept going. And now it's live. If you're in the messy middle of building something right now, this is your reminder: Don't give up. A personal note (and a thank you)It's been almost a year since I started this solopreneur journey. I won't pretend it's only been smooth. I've had nights where I questioned everything. But I keep going because I actually enjoy the process: the researching, building, learning, creating. I'm no longer chasing just the possible outcome. 2026 is shaping up to be a big year. More products. More helping others ship. And more to come. You being a subscriber means the world to me. So here's a small thank you: one free video on Historical Reels: Code: THANKS I'd love to see what you create. Reply with feedback, ideas, or just to say hi. Thanks for being here. |
